CMMR2020 rescheduled to Fall, 2021, Tokyo

Dear all,

As announced in April 2020, We decided to reschedule CMMR 2020 for Fall, 2021 in Tokyo. Now the committee has decided to start preparations for the conference.  The date of the conference will be 15 November (Monday) through 19 (Friday), 2021.  At present, we hope that it will be possible to organize a real format of CMMR in Tokyo, but depending on the future situation, we will have to take into account the possibility of holding an online or hybrid conference.  Either way, the submission deadline of contributions will be the end of April or May.  Please pay attention to the further messages about the details of CMMR 2021 to be announced at the conference Web page and mailing lists.

On behalf of the CMMR 2021 Organizing Committee,

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 15th International Symposium on Computer Music Multidisciplinary Research (CMMR) that will take place on 2-6 November 2020 (Monday through Friday), in Tokyo, Japan.  CMMR is a series of international symposia specialized in multidisciplinary research related to music and computers.

It will be the first CMMR symposium in East Asia, under the conference theme “Music in the AI Era.”  We warmly welcome both the technical and musical contributions from all aspects of multidisciplinary fields related to music and computers.

CMMR 2020 aims to offer an active platform of the exchange and incubation of ideas, issues, results, and perspectives under the influence of the recent rapid growth of AI technology.  We are looking forward to connecting people of widespread areas, such as representatives of academia, industry, and government, including researchers, developers, musicians, educators, and students.

Please look forward to further announcement.
